Our Annual Appeal
Each year, Hyde Park Day School asks alumni, parents, Board members and friends to make a gift to the Annual Appeal. Gifts to the annual fund provide the school with the flexibility in meeting immediate operating expenses and sustaining critical programs that provide the best educational option in the Chicagoland area for children who struggle with learning disabilities.
Gifts may be designated for:
- General operating support
- Scholarship
- Other school-designated needs
The Annual Benefit Event
Hyde Park Day School’s annual benefit is a highly impactful event where parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the community join together for an evening of fun and philanthropy.
Proceeds from the event support The Bright Futures Scholarship Fund.

The Bright Futures Scholarship Fund
We believe that limited financial ability should not prohibit students the opportunity to receive an innovative and comprehensive education. HPDS’ Bright Futures Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to bright students with learning disabilities in order to attend our school. Nearly one third of our students receive some type of financial assistance to attend Hyde Park Day School.
Support for the scholarship fund comes from a variety of sources, including parents, alumni and other friends. All proceeds from the Annual Benefit are allocated to the Bright Futures Scholarship Fund. For the 2025-26 academic year, we are proud to have awarded $454,000 to 14 students across all three campuses. Thank you to our donors for transforming the lives of our young students.
